Why should I use the LOIS system?
The LOIS system is functional and convenient. As a LOIS user you can:
- Record and track secured interests online
- Subordinate, assign, or release interest online
- Search for ownership and security interest information
- Run reports to assist in tracking your accounts
- (Escrow) Conduct transactions on behalf of dealers, lenders, and owners
How will I know if a home in which I have a security interest has changed?
Any transaction adding or changing security interest information will trigger notification to all owners and security interest holders regarding the change.
What information can I print from the system?
Different "user" groups will be able to run various information reports from the LOIS system. There is also a function that allows the user to download all maintained information that applies
to their particular user group to MS Excel and manipulate the data as desired.
