How does a building
official ask for a site-specific interpretation?
|

A site specific interpretation must
be requested in writing, preferably on the appropriate division
form. The request should contain:
- The street address of the building
site
- A description of the need for a
site-specific interpretation
- The specialty code provisions that
may apply
Once a request has been received by
the division, the program chief will work with the building official
to develop the interpretation. An interpretation is usually completed
within 30 days.
