Q. Can a job be inspected while the installing electrician is still completing the final stages of a job?
A. No. Final inspections are not to be used as a means of obtaining a punch list. Call to schedule a final inspection for a completed job. If a job was legitimately expected to be completed by
the inspector's arrival, and the inspector arrived early, occasional inspections prior to completion could be accepted by the AHJ. (May 1, 2003 Tri-County Code Forum; approved by state electrical
