Q. When does a room with electronic equipment become a computer room and have to meet the requirements Article 645 - Information Technology Equipment? 645.1, 2

A. Art. 645 is only applicable if the area is intended and built as a computer room. (Tri-County Code Forum, May 9, 2002)

Q. Is there an exception for dedicated use-circuits in bedrooms - for example, for dedicated computer outlets in bedrooms that serve as home offices? 210.12
