Tri-County Building Industry Service Board
Having completed its mandate, the board was eliminated by legislative
action on August 21, 2003. The legislation transfers the responsibilities
of the board to the department.
Tri-County Board Sunset Recognition
Event
The division and the department held a final board meeting on December
17, 2003, hosted by Intel, to recognize and to thank past and current
board members for their contributions to Oregon. The event was a
celebration of the board's accomplishments.
Mission
The Tri-County Building Industry Service was created by the 1999
Legislature to develop uniform practices and procedures for the
building and construction industries in Clackamas, Multnomah and
Washington counties. Having completed its mission, the board
was dissolved by the 2003 Legislature on August 21, 2003.
